Rain Spray Chamber for Headlights as per AIS -012 ANNEX:A5 – APPENDIX:3
The equipment would be made of stainless steel inside. Dimentions : 1m x 1 m x 1 m.
Auto spray timer based in the centre is provided.
The test samples are placed on a revolving flat plate to enable even spray of rain water on them. The spray system used is equipped with a nozzle 1.3 mm in diameter allowing a liquid flow rate of 0.24 ± 0.02 l/minute at an operating pressure of 6.0 bars -0/+0.5 bar.
Under these operation conditions the fan pattern obtained shall be 170 mm ± 50 mm in diameter on the surface exposed to deterioration; at a distance of 380 mm ± 10 mm from the nozzle. User friendly display of all the vital parameters ensures
