The Presto Rebound Resilience Tester is an instrument which is widely used for evaluating the ability of rubber and its products to absorb shocks or impact forces. Resilience of any material is defined as its ability to withstand shocks and dampen their effects. This is one of the major properties of rubbers or coated fabric which determines their durability.

One of the methods used for the determination of impact resilience of solid rubber is based on the measurement of the height of rebound of a standard plunger, after it is dropped from a fixed height onto the surface of the rubber specimen under test. The Presto Rebound resilience tester is based on this principle. The equipment is mounted on solid base to enable accurate results. It has a steel scale to measure the impact rebound. The Presto Rebound resilience tester is a must-have for all laboratories and industries where it is important to check the rebound properties of materials such as rubber.

The equipment is built on a rigid metallic base plate and finished in Autumn Gray & Blue combination painting and bright chrome / zinc plating to give it a corrosion resistant finish. The equipment comes complete with an Instruction Manual and a Calibration Certificate traceable to NABL approved Labs.
