Testing Instruments By Standards
ASTM F1319-94 (2000) is a testing standard that is used for testing the color fastness of textile products and other products with colors. The test method used in this standard involves rubbing or crocking of the test sample against a testing strip so that the amount of color transferred from the sample to the testing strip could be analyzed. The testing standard is not only applicable to textile products but it is also applied to the paper printer to evaluate the amount smudge and abrasion shown by the images printed through a [particular printer on a specific paper. This also helps in assessing the quality of paper as well as printer.
