·         Test any surface of your house wall you plan to renovate or repaint. Select a particular area and carefully rub off the layers of paint so you can ensure every layer.
·         Test kits show reports with variations to the color of the test strip. If you are not uncertain about the color, make sure to have a friend confirm the results.
