Computerized Snap Pullout Tester is used to check the pull strength of any kind of button or snap fixer in textiles. Industry veterans would agree that it is the garment manufacturer’s responsibility and duty to ensure that snaps are applied appropriately to all garments. Thus it is imperative to prevent separation between the snap and the garment; or else it presents a dangerous situation especially, if a loose snap is swallowed.

The testing equipment comprises of an upper Snap-Clamp, a Lower Fabric Clamp & Force Gauge mounted on a stand. The component to be tested is gripped by the Upper Snap Clamp and the cloth/ fabric is fixed to the Lower Fabric Clamp. The top fly wheel is turned with a specific force. The recording instrument displays the holding strength or the breaking strength of the snap component attached.
