The Yarn Examining Board Winder is used to assess the evenness, hairiness, neps (small entangled fibers which lead to the downgrading of yarn & fabric), thick & thin places and other imperfection in a representative sample of yarn, wound at a pre-determined pitch onto a tapered / parallel black board. The Board is rotated manually to wrap yarn over it & different types of boards are supplied for winding the yarn. It is provided with a specially designed, separate unit for holding yarn bobbin. A set of change gears gives five different counts.
