OVERVIEW

Melt Flow Index - MFR Model (Method - A & B) is the latest technology designed for Testing flow properties of molten plastics/resins. Method A & B of ASTM D 1238 and ISO 1133 standards can be conducted on the machine to calculate MFI (Melt Flow Index), MVR (Melt Volume Rate) and MD (Melt Density).

The new-design MFR Model can quickly extrude the flow rate of molten resins utilizing the advanced setup of load, piston and a metallic barrel. The specimen, majorly in granule form is put inside the barrel and the piston is inserted. Load, as per requirement are placed on the piston and the parameters are then selected from the touchscreen display. The molten granules flow down and are precisely cut and weighed further. The instrument is equipped with additional features such as safety cover, automatic sample cutting tool and a displacement sensor. As the machine is capable of calculating the linear displacement of Piston thus it is capable of deriving MVR of the specimen.

The MFR Model is specially designed with HMI based Touchscreen display which offers easy operation and recording of test data. The test parameters can be set on-screen and the test can be run automatically. The high precision based features allow accurate results trusted by the experts.
