Flammability Tester - IS 15061

Rating
4.8/5Model PFT-IS 15061
Flammability testing determines how easily a material or finished product will ignite or burn when exposed to or used near fire or heat.
Flammability testing covers several different testing protocols and methods intended to measure a material's vulnerability, including its susceptibility to an ignition source, its propensity to combust, and the rate at which it will burn when ignited.
The Tester is based on IS 15061, The standard is applicable to check the burning behavior (ignitability, burning rate and melting behaviour) of interior materials used in motor vehicles.
Flammability test methods measure how easily materials ignite, how fastly they burn and in which manner they react when burned. During the test, samples are exposed or, held in a vertical/horizontal position, to a flame and determining the speed of propagation of the flame over the material to be tested.

Customers Reviews
What our customers say about us is important to us.
A: This test is done when plastic parts are used near heat or electrical sources. Safety checks become important before market release.
Q: What does a flammability test on plastics actually show?
A: It shows how a plastic behaves when exposed to flame. Some materials stop burning quickly. Others continue to burn.
Q: Does Presto provide calibration and installation support after purchasing a plastic flammability test machine?
A: Yes. The team helps with installation at the site first. After that, calibration support is available so test readings stay consistent during regular use. This helps labs start testing without confusion or repeated adjustments.
Q: Is this plastic flammability tester suitable for routine lab work?
A: Yes. It fits quality labs that test plastic samples often. The test method stays repeatable when conditions remain controlled.
Q: How to know the plastic flammability tester price?
A: Price depends on test standard compliance and chamber configuration. Kindly contact our team via email-info@prestogroup.com and get the price quotation. You may also dial +91 9210903903.
Q: Why do labs prefer Presto for flammability testing machines?
A: Labs often prefer familiarity. The tester performs as expected, and support remains available. Over time, that reliability builds confidence.
